About our school

Newrybar Public School is a small school serving its local community. It is nestled in the hills between Ballina and Byron Bay and draws students from a range of backgrounds. Tolerance and acceptance are promoted.

Class programs provide for individual learning styles. An awareness of environmental issues, independence in learning and choices in leisure activities are actively valued.

We boast a relaxed family atmosphere in work and play. In the playground students intermingle regardless of age, ability or gender.
